While walking my dogs just now in the neighborhood I encountered a house with a large dog off leash on the front porch. The owners, a man and a woman, stood nearby. The dog was not secured and was growling at me and my dogs. Rather than getting upset, I stopped, picked up my dogs, crossed the street, and safely diverted myself around the hazard. No upset.
