Day nine ocean swim

Writer's picture: Kurt BellKurt Bell

Those strong winds of morning fading by sunset, leaving a warm and gentle off-shore breeze, reminiscent of Mexico, to hold up the oncoming waves into very surfable ”lefts” and “rights” peeling everywhere up and down the Huntington shore. I enjoyed a strong day of work today, real focus and attendance to both my mission and duty. And our daughter Emily is doing better, recovering well under her mother’s loving care. It’s nice when life goes well, by chance, or design or sheer force of will, and I’ll gladly take such days when I can. Now, I’ll watch the sun fade to night before going home to a hot shower, a warm meal, and a good night’s sleep.

ABOUT

Going Alone was begun by Kurt Bell in an effort to help others understand and manage  the recognition of the apparent indifference of the universe to our well being, happiness or even our existence, and to find ways to make a good life in spite of this fact.
