Day six



Day six: I did the wrong thing today when a better choice was right there in sight. It’s so easy to do better in hindsight. But I’ll put a pin in this memory of error. I’ll hold this recollection like a little scar to see in the mirror sometimes. So many scars. So many mistakes. But I usually learn—rarely making the same error twice. Peace then, comes by degrees, little by little with each overcome failure and tuning to the mark. It’s the tuning that’s tough. That bending by degrees away from the direction that is wrong. Who knew the sun would set in the west? Everyone but me it would seem. At least I’m kinda aimed in the right direction now. And I’m looking forward to seeing the sun actually go down myself for a change. Not just hearing about it from others.
