After dinner tonight, Yumiko and I checked out this farmhouse for sale in the village of Matsuno, about eleven kilometers as the crow flies from downtown Shizuoka City where both Yumiko and our daughter Emily grew up. This is a village which I've visited several times over the years en-route to the deeper mountains. It's literally a village of tea, with field after field of carefully tended rows of tea surrounding the village.
