The Good Life - 01/03/2023 - Thanks Juan! *

I used more of Juan’s advice this morning when my work worries woke me before the alarm. I explained to these worries how I planned to deal with them this week, what I would do with the team to avoid their happening, and how small these worries really are in the greater scheme. That seemed to work, and the beast went silent, having no recourse to my reason or plans. What a great—wonderful really!—experience it is to silence the inner monster of worry. And how strange that the beast so meekly went away… And I think that I can keep it away today. I believe that I am up to the task. And what a great start to the new year to begin taming my own mind. And I’m just getting started. Thanks, Juan!
