The Good Life - 03/25/2023 - Failed expectation

I overextended myself yesterday and discovered my reach fell short of my intent. Such a disappointment. I let someone down in the process and my displeasure ruined my dinner and sent me to bed early like a punished child. I guess I’ve discovered another real limit, something I can’t do unless my life depends on it, and it doesn’t, so I won’t. So, I’ll renegotiate expectation, show up always and try better today—recognizing and communicating true limits, and recognizing and pursuing true opportunity.
