I had such a strong and abiding life routine before Yumiko and I went to Japan, which I can’t quite regain after a mere nine days away. It’s interesting how easily the life reset button is activated, triggered by just a slight jostling of settled ways. That’s good. I’m glad to see there’s enough youthful unrest still within me to facilitate wholesale change. As I’ll need this in the years ahead, like the reserve fuel on a motorbike, a dial to switch on for a strong last mile to the finish line or perhaps the next station for gas. So, instead of trying to regain my old routine now, it might be better practice to try and instantiate something new. I’ll talk with Yumiko about this later... As I’d like to hear her thoughts on rebirth beyond age sixty.
