What a difference a full, good night of rest can make. And fresh, clean sheets. No sand! And the window by my head open a few inches to let in the ocean night air. Best of all though is a day completed in alignment with my objectives and principles—in step with the better man I know I can be and strive daily to become. Mostly, it’s more striving than succeeding, though sometimes I can hit the mark, like yesterday. And then I’ll sleep like death ‘till dawn and awake refreshed and ready, even ready for a Monday. This luck won’t last, I’m sure. Maybe not even ‘till Tuesday. But it’s good today. So, I’ll do this Monday right and well and in alignment with the better man I know I can be. I hope he sticks around another day.
